The Next MacGyver Finalist graphic novel series – ‘Style Engineers Worldwide’ – Is Now Available in Paperback

The series mixes fashion, technology and global awareness to inspire youth to explore STEM fields.

Global Tinker (globaltinker.com), a transmedia children’s studio dedicated to producing content that encourages social impact and “the maker mindset,” is proud to announce the paperback release of the 'Style Engineers Worldwide' graphic novel series, available exclusively on Amazon.com.

'Style Engineers Worldwide' chronicles Tilly Tailor, a 16-year-old budding fashion designer with a big secret: she has a Ph.D. in computer engineering. Tilly and her diverse group of friends form a club called the “Style Engineers Worldwide Circle” by combining fashion and technology to save the world and undertake humanitarian issues at home and around the globe, including rhino poaching and medical wearables in the hospital. The first three print issues of 'Style Engineers Worldwide' are available on Amazon.com, alongside the digital versions on both Kindle and iBooks stores.

Written by Kristen O. Bobst and illustrated by Sonia Liao, 'Style Engineers Worldwide' is a visually striking graphic novel series that encourages creation, social impact, and STEM education for a diverse audience, and proves that the arts and sciences are united. Bobst’s first iteration of the concept was a Top 10 Finalist at The Next MacGyver Competition, which focused on propelling the next great TV show to encourage females to explore engineering.

Subsequent issues are currently being developed and written for future release.
